LotR: Heroes of Middle-earth is a free adventure game for mobile devices developed by Electronic Arts. This strategy RPG title is set in the popular Lord of the Rings universe. In it, players get to relive the original trilogy and play various characters from the series.
Similar to The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War or The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth, LotR: Heroes of Middle-earth takes on a more tactical approach to gameplay. Players will need to consider each character's strength as they engage in turn-based combat, facing all kinds of monsters and enemies.

Take a break from the story and take on other players in squad battles via online PvP mode. With all that said, the gameplay experience feels rather thin and could use more content and things to do.
Great but needs more
All in all, LotR: Heroes of Middle-earth is a great reason for long-time fans to jump back into the series and relive iconic moments from the trilogy once more. If you're new to the series, this is a good introduction that makes the experience fun and engaging. Hopefully, more content will get added in the future. Nevertheless, this is worth checking out.
